How it works
step 1: Brand Questionnaire
Fill out a brief intake form and questionnaire that helps us get to know your brand and organization, your target audience, and your goals.
You’ll also upload your logo files and brand fonts, so have those handy — plus any brand guidelines.
If you don’t have guidelines, don’t worry. We’ll reference your website or any other brand materials you supply instead.
step 2: AUDIT & BIO
Within 1 week of receiving your questionnaire, we’ll audit your profile and provide tailored recommendations via Google Doc & Loom video. This includes the topics for your 3 pinned posts and the topics/titles for your IG story highlights.
We’ll also send over your rewritten bio. Just copy and paste to load it into your profile.
Review & Approve: Give us the thumbs-up on the topics for your pinned posts and story highlights so we can move to step 3.
step 3: Pinned posts & Story Highlights
Within 1 week of topic approval, we’ll create your posts and design your story highlight covers. We’ll also turn your posts into reusable templates.
We’ll send everything over with a brief Loom video explaining how to use your new posts and templates.
Review & Approve: If everything looks good, you’re all set! If not, your Instagram Makeover comes with 1 round of revisions.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The whole process takes 2 weeks from start to finish. If you purchase any additional done-for-you posts, we may need a few extra days to get those done, but we’ll notify you of this in advance.

It should take you no longer than an hour to fill out the intake form and questionnaire. It includes questions that help us get to know your brand or organization, your offers, your goals, and your ideal customers, clients, patients or donors.
You’ll also need to have your logo files and fonts handy. If you have brand guidelines, share those too — but if not, we’ll reference your website.

Nope! An existing Instagram account is helpful, but if you’re starting from scratch we’ll skip the audit and tailor our recommendations to help you get set up the right way. It does help if you’re already an Instagram user and familiar with the platform.
Note that you do need to have an established offer (service, program, etc.) and existing visual brand (logos, colors, fonts). You should also be able to answer a few questions about your target audience.

Photos of the real humans behind a brand or organization are critical to building trust. It’s a good idea to work with a local photographer to get fresh, candid lifestyle photos of you and your team on a regular basis to share on Instagram.

It’s not about going viral or getting tons of new followers — it’s about attracting the RIGHT people to you and driving results that matter to the bottom line.

Instagram Makeover is not a good fit if you:
Don’t have at least the basics of an existing visual brand identity (logo, brand colors, fonts). Instagram Makeover is all about bringing your brand to life — it won’t establish a new brand for you.
Don’t have an offer (service, program, book or course, fundraising campaign, etc.) to promote. The Instagram Makeover is not just about making your profile “pretty” — it’s about helping you drive business results from the platform.
Don’t know anything about your target audience or customers — the people you’re trying to reach on Instagram. Our work will be most effective if you can share at least a few details about your audience and why they choose to follow, buy from, or donate to you.
Are a primarily retail or ecommerce-driven brand selling a physical good or consumer product. The Instagram Makeover doesn’t include guidance on setting up an Instagram Shop or product photography. The Instagram Makeover is ideal for brands with a non-tangible offer or service.

No. We won’t be logging into your account as part of the Instagram Makeover — instead, we’ll provide you with everything you need to plug your new bio and posts into your Instagram account directly.

Absolutely. If your organization requires you to pay for services via invoice or an ACH deposit, send us an email here. We’ll issue an invoice for your Instagram Makeover plus any add-ons you’re purchasing. Note that payment must be received before we’ll be able to get started on your Instagram Makeover.

Believe it or not, some aspects of the IG Makeover are taxable (specifically graphic design), so we’re legally required to collect sales tax on those items. That’s why you’ll see we’ve itemized it on the checkout page — that way, you’re only paying tax on the taxable items, rather than the whole $2,500 package.
